Frequently Asked Questions

The facts

Yes. It’s important that we schedule a trial to help the wedding day application go smoother and quicker and to make sure you are happy with the look.

I recommend booking your trial to coincide with another event such as engagement photos or bridal shower, if possible. This way, you can try it out for a whole night and determine if there are any adjustments you’d like to make for your big day.

The consultation/trial normally takes 1 to 1.5 hours so we can really nail down the look you’re going for and make any adjustments. From there, I’ll make note of everything we used so we can replicate it on your wedding day.

I recommend booking your consultation at least three to four weeks before your wedding in order to allow time to assess the condition of your skin and eyebrows and possibly suggest a skincare regime.

By only using high-quality, performance products, your makeup is guaranteed to last all day and night. I make sure to stock my kit full of luxury makeup that is not only sweat, water, and tear proof, but will also provide a well-hydrated, natural and flawless look.

The length of a trial is typically between an hour and an hour and a half. Please feel free to send me some images of makeup looks and styles that you like. This will help me get an idea of your preferences and provide a starting point in creating your look.

Makeup applications outside of a consultation/trial typically take between 45 minutes to an hour.

Please arrive with a clean, exfoliated and moisturized face. If you have any blemishes please do not pick them. It’s far easier to cover blemishes than scabs.

If your location is in the Calgary area, then there are no additional charges. If visitor parking is unavailable, a parking fee will also be added to the final bill.

A per kilometre travel fee (there and back) will be applied to all bookings outside Calgary city limits.

I am available for travel within Alberta, British Columbia and abroad. For overnight destinations, please inquire for a custom quote.
